“I first met Hailey on the island of Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos in 2016, with her future husband Justin, at the home of Donna Karan. We spoke about shooting together in New York, and in 2017 I was working in earnest on my Angels Limited Edition book. We shot at my home, Pier 59 Studios in New York. She came in trainers and clothes she arrived in. It was obvious she was going to be an unstoppable force within the industry.”

At the heart of James’ Angels series are collaborations with many of the most iconic models of our time. The underlying premise is the impact and beauty of the figurative form in all its expressions, a shared part of the human experience. James says,
