“My very first sitting with Kendall Jenner I asked her to become part of my Nomad Project. I combined the artistry of the painting style with her unmade face. It was a significant moment, I think for the both of us” – RUSSELL JAMEJAMES
-
James describes his Two World Series as“The place I play and explore with all my concepts without any restraint”.
Infusing his worlds of fashion, celebrity, culture and nature James often combines his worlds of fashion, celebrity, culture and nature.
The range of the series includes moments of peace he has found underwater in stunning seascapes through to studio concepts of people such as Heidi Klum, Rachel Roberts, Nicole Trunfio and Miranda Kerr.
His early works on this series can be found in his publication Russell James (2008) and Nomad Two Worlds (2012).
