Moods of The Sea Exhibition is now online in the virtual gallery at Camera Work, Berlin.

Moods of the Sea features a selection of remarkable photographers whose work explores the ever-changing character of the ocean. For Russell James, the sea has always been both a subject and a source of inspiration — a place where movement, light, and emotion converge.

In this exhibition, four of his works are on display: Waves Crashing, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, 2001; Karolina Floating, Bahamas, 2005; Montgomery Reef, 2019; and Water Dance Alessandra, Bahamas, 2005. From the raw energy of crashing waves to the serene elegance of floating figures, Russell’s images capture the sea’s power, grace, and endless capacity to inspire. Through his lens, the ocean becomes a stage for both human connection and natural spectacle, inviting viewers to experience its moods anew.
