“Rihanna had recently been voted ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ and for this shoot every designer in the world sent the stylist their latest apparel in the hopes that their products would be seen on her.

However I asked Rihanna if she might consider some raw elements instead that I was somewhat obsessed with. This dried tobacco leaf had such an amazing texture when applied wet to skin and Rihanna had no hesitation in becoming my creative partner in crime for the day.”
