The Power of Discovery, New York, 2001
“Part of a series, Heidi Klum helped me bring the creature Discovery to life for the very first time in 2001. The series caught the attention of Hermes who hosted a show featuring these images, my first ever show in New York.”
RUSSELL JAMES-
James describes his Two Worlds Series as “the place I play and explore with all my concepts without any restraint”.
This is where his worlds of fashion, celebrity, culture and nature collide freely and without boundaries.
The range of the series includes moments of peace he has found underwater in stunning seascapes through to studio concepts of people such as Heidi Klum, Rachel Roberts, Nicole Trunfio and Miranda Kerr.
His early works on this series can be found in his publication Russell James (2008) and Nomad Two Worlds (2012).
