We also share a sense of humour around the provocative. When this amazing coat was sent to us on a shoot in New York we both smiled, and later that day we created this scene. We high-fived the second we finished shooting it.”

At the heart of James’ Angels series are collaborations with many of the most iconic models of our time. The underlying premise is the impact and beauty of the figurative form in all its expressions, a shared part of the human experience. James says,
“I often refer to this as my Trust series. It’s such a privilege that so many amazing people have entrusted me to capture such personal and intimate portraits. It’s partnership at its best.”
