Cindy on Floor Malibu, 2018
“In the year of Cindy’s 50th birthday we collaborated on a series of photographs. We landed on this pure concept of a perfect sheet. We shot at the home of a friend in Malibu that would, sadly, be consumed by fire a few months later. Cindy’s approach was fearless and we truly captured a moment in time that could never be replicated.”
RUSSELL JAMES-
At the heart of James’ Angels series are collaborations with many of the most iconic models of our time. The underlying premise is the impact and beauty of the figurative form in all its expressions, a shared part of the human experience. James says,
“I often refer to this as my Trust series. It’s such a privilege that so many amazing people have entrusted me to capture such personal and intimate portraits. It’s partnership at its best.”
