Heidi Misbehaved, 2016

Sep 3

“Heidi and I have worked on many projects throughout her remarkable career. What I have tried to capture in this photograph is the wonderful sense of mischief that Heidi exudes. This day we played and my role was to capture the energy as it moved. This portrait of Heidi makes me smile each time I see it.”

RUSSELL JAMES

At the heart of James’ Angels series are collaborations with many of the most iconic models of our time. The underlying premise is the impact and beauty of the figurative form in all its expressions, a shared part of the human experience. James says,
“I often refer to this as my Trust series. It’s such a privilege that so many amazing people have entrusted me to capture such personal and intimate portraits. It’s partnership at its best.”
