“Likely well known is that Lily is the height of elegance and beauty. Lesser known is that we also share a geekiness around Star Wars and Disney, and have had many lightsabre fights on set. The result is that in some ways I looked on Lily as a kid sister. On this set, though, the length of the blowing fabric and the window frame allowed me to see Lily’s absolute elegance in the best of ways. It remains one of my favourite photographs of Lily ever.”

At the heart of James’ Angels series are collaborations with many of the most iconic models of our time. The underlying premise is the impact and beauty of the figurative form in all its expressions, a shared part of the human experience. James says,
